For whatever it’s worth, it really depends on your work ethic and goals.
The Dining Table Works Just Fine
When I first started my career as an online marketer, I worked right from the dining room.
I had a laptop and a really long extension cord that kept me going.
Mind you, this extension cord is one of those heavy-duty orange ones you can find at Home Depot.
So, my first office was not the best.
This was not a part of my spending because it was what they had at my mom’s house then.
Yup, I was living with mom!
It wasn’t the best and didn’t look like an office, but it is where my whole career started.

Since we’re already trying to save money, I’m sure you’re not looking for something ginormous either.

Okay, I still think the dining table is your best bet.
The Chair
Once again, this item can come from the dining room. This will work fine if you can handle not rolling around or adjusting the hydraulic lever on an office chair.
Now if you really feel the need to roll around and be able to adjust the height of your chair, the Boss Black Task Seating office chair is the cheapest one on the market.
For this one, don’t expect to pick your feet up on the desk and relax like a king because I think you’ll go flying, and then your money well spent won’t be that great of an investment.
It is a super simple chair, but it does the job.
Again, this is for the I can’t afford to sit down kind of people.
Great buy, in my opinion, so consider this if you’re on a budget.
Now Get to Work
For starters, this is a great setup.
For under $70, you can have a desk and an office chair.
This is a great combination and something you should consider if you’re on a budget.
Make more money, and then maybe you can think about upgrading to something fancier and a lot more durable.
For now, this will do the job.
It will beat the dining room table, and I’m sure you can set this up almost anywhere in your house.
